| Description: | Symantec Endpoint Protection integrates anti-virus, intrusion prevention, and firewall protection to provide comprehensive protection against threats to your computer. To install only anti-virus software without firewall or intrusion prevention protection, perform a custom install and deselect the "network threat protection" component. The UCB Custom installer contains custom settings, including client reporting to a central management server. If you do not wish to use custom settings or forward your Symantec logs, download the Administrators CD. The Administrators CD contains installation files for all SEP components, including clients without custom settings and management server software. Please see https://kb.berkeley.edu/kb2734 for more information. Symantec Client Security, the previous Symantec security product, will be available as archived software until 1 Feb 2010.
