| Description: | This application is currently NOT supported for iPhone OS 3.0 and later due to changes in how the operating system now tries to help users access wireless networks. =========== For PRE 3.0 users only ============ To use the UC Berkeley "AirBears" wireless network you must: 1) Connect to AirBears WiFi 2) Authenticate with your CalNet ID and password You connect to AirBears WiFi yourself. Select "settings" then "WiFi", and in the future it should automatically connect you when you're in range. This application helps you with #2. AirBears will automatically log you off after 15 minutes of inactivity and when you move into range of a different base station. Use this app to re-login. You can automatically authenticate straight from Safari by prefixing any URL you want with "ab", like this: abhttp://www.berkeley.edu |
