Colleagues, This notice is intended to reach any who a) are expecting to renew their subscription to the MCCA and have not yet received renewal notification from SHI via e-mail; and b) any who are intending to subscribe to the MCCA for the first time. Renewal notices for all 2007 MCCA subscribers were sent to the ‘Notices Contact’ on April 15 & 16, 2008. If you expect to renew and have not seen such a communication from SHI, please contact me directly and I will work with SHI to ensure that you receive the notice. If you are interested in subscribing to the MCCA for the first time, please contact SHI using the contact information below. If you experience any issues or have questions that SHI is unable to answer to your satisfaction, please contact me. Below is general renewal information that is contained in the renewal notices that went out to campus. KEY DATES • The Open Enrollment period officially started on March 31, 2008. • Open Enrollment will end May 9, 2008. All orders must be received by this date. Here is how to renew or participate in the MCCA: 1. Determine your current Knowledge Worker FTE count. You can use the FTE calculator found at SHI’s MCCA website. Go to www.ships.shi.com, enter the username mccauser and password mccauser, and you’ll see the calculator. 2. Determine the products you wish to include in your Campus Agreement. You can search the SHI web-site, or use the MCCA price list found at the site. Desktop product quantity you must order are based on your Knowledge Worker FTE count (determined in item 1 above). Server products are based on the number of servers or processors, depending on the type of server license. 3. To process your order you will need to do two things: a. Add the items you wish to purchase to your on-line shopping cart and go through the checkout process. b. E-mail, Mail, or fax your purchase order or credit card order to SHI. Be sure to include your renewal ID Number during the checkout process and on your Purchase Order documents. Send orders, questions and formal quote requests to UCSystem@shi.com.
