Tripwire
| Description: | The UC system has licensed the Tripwire Console (formerly Manager) as
well as File System and Network Device agents for faculty, staff and
departmental use. In order to obtain Tripwire software and licenses,
please follow the instructions below: For people and departments using or wanting to use Tripwire Enterprise (http://www.tripwire.com/products/enterprise/index.cfm) If you are performing a new install of the console and agents (if, for example, you do not already use Tripwire), send an email to John Ives at jives@security.berkeley.edu with the number of File System or Network Device agents you want as well as the number of console/manager installations . In most cases you will only need one console license. If you need to increase the number of agents on your existing Tripwire console/manager, send an e-mail to jives@security.berkeley.edu specifying the total number of agents needed (please include an expected growth so that we do not need to repeat this too often) along with the host name on which the server is currently installed. If you need to move an existing console to a new server, please contact Tripwire tech support directly at 866-897-8776 and provide them with the host name of the existing and new sever.
