| Description: | HostExplorer (HE) is a terminal emulation and file transfer program. It can emulate DEC VT terminals for connecting to Unix systems and IBM 3270 and 5250 terminals for connecting to IBM mainframe systems. HostExplorer (HE) natively includes the SSL/TLS support required for secure terminal (IBM 3270) and file transfer (ftps) access to the campus IBM mainframe systems Ironwood and Irid. With the optional Connectivity Secure Shell (CSS) package added it supports Secure Shell (ssh2) terminal and secure file transfer (sftp) connections to Unix systems." |
