Symantec AntiVirus (SAV) provides comprehensive anti-virus protection against malware threats to your computer.


The current Symantec anti-virus client for Windows is now Symantec Endpoint Protection. The older versions of Symantec AntiVirus will remain available as archive software until 1 Feb 2010.


The Norton AntiVirus for Mac 11.0.3 client available under "Early Adopters" is intended for Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) clients only. Mac users running 10.4 or 10.5 should download the current software, SAV for Mac 10.2.1. Please see https://kb.berkeley.edu/kb2731 for more information.


Use of the UC Berkeley license is available to current UC Berkeley faculty, staff, students and select affiliates only.
