Norton AntiVirus (for Mac OS)

Symantec AntiVirus is the UC Berkeley campus's site-licensed and supported anti-virus software for the Mac OS. The latest version of Symantec AntiVirus for Mac can be downloaded from the "Symantec AntiVirus" section of Software Central: http://software-central.berkeley.edu/software/62-Symantec+AntiVirus. Norton AntiVirus for Mac is no longer supported under the campus site-license.

Norton AntiVirus versions 9.0.2 and 10.0 are archived here for Mac OS X 10.1, 10.2, and 10.3 users ONLY. Users of Mac OS X 10.4 or 10.5 should install Symantec AntiVirus for Mac. Please note that a machine running older versions of Mac OS X may not be in compliance with the campus Minimum Security Standards: https://security.berkeley.edu/MinStds/AppA.min.htm since security updates may not be available from Apple for these platforms. Please upgrade your Mac OS X systems to 10.4 or 10.5.
