Symantec Client Security (SCS) integrates antivirus and firewall protection and intrusion detection to provide comprehensive protection against threats to your computer.


Note: The UCB Custom installer contains custom settings, including client log forwarding to a central management server. If you do not wish to use custom settings or forward your Symantec logs, download the Administrators CD. Please see https://kb.berkeley.edu/kb1525 for more information.


The Administrators CD contains installation files for both the antivirus and integreated antivirus/firewall products. Only the standalone antivirus product is supported on Windows Server (2003 and 200) and 64-bit platforms. For Windows Vista support and Server 2008 support (antivirus only), go to Symantec AntiVirus and download the appropriate version for your operating system.
