tn3270 X provides network terminal emulation of an IBM 3270 terminal, including extended highlighting, APL, and IBM 3179-compatible graphics. Color text and graphics are supported on color-capable Macintosh computers. tn3270 X also implements an FTP server for file transfers.

tn3270 X is the terminal emulation program that you should use if you are connecting to the IBM CMSA system, or to one of the administrative systems (such as BEARS, CAP, and CPR) that runs on CMSA or on the IBM MVS system.
